Visit Trip Mobile App
With the spread of the Internet and the widespread use of smartphones, travellers are increasingly looking to customize travel itineraries according to their preferences and needs, especially in places with fewer tourists. In addition, tourists are willing to share their travel experiences and insights with other tourists anytime, anywhere, and provide suggestions for future tourists who plan to visit places they have visited.

The Problem
People struggle to visit and experience real local tourist attractions, places, cultures and food that only locals know and go to.
The Solution
The Visit is a travel app that offers highly customized tour options, and people can find off-the-beaten-track tour destinations and local events to attend. Moreover, Visit is also a social app for users to share travel experiences and thoughts with other users and give direct feedback and advice to future users through the app.
User Interview Plan
By interviewing five users aged 24 - 40, we try to discover what people miss when they plan for a trip. We found out that it is an actual travel experience.
Interview Transcripts
“I feel sad that I spent that much time and money to visit that place and it didn't meet my expectations.”
“Normally I don’t think too much before I go, to be honest, they are different from what they are introduced online most of the time.”
“Sometimes scammers try to loot me when they realize I’m new here. Charging more than the actual, for example, food or taxi or even souvenir. If there is an app where I can check all the prices so I can bargain with them, it will be great.”
Nowadays, most apps don’t have a channel to share personal travel experiences with other users.
